Money Or Pauper Making Apps

Dear lovely people,

Well right now, I am really pissed off! Right that’s what I said so you got me right and guess why? Many people out there really want to get rich but they don't have the time or energy to start a business or get a job at once. In an era of a social media boom flooding the internet, many are the dumbasses who think they can just log on to a website and make piles of cash with no commensurate effort or skill!

All the tons of numerous videos about Apps that will enable you get rich quick are really blowing my mind. Come to think of it, what do they take people for? Some certified fools? That I install an App on my phone or PC then stand by and watch it rain money on me? Come on, say something better than that. If all was that easy, people like Mayweather will not risk breaking their necks in a boxing ring just to get rich, somebody like Samuel Eto’o will not be risking all in a football pitch, they’ll just download some funny App, sit by and let it roll-in the millions.

Personally, I will not be travelling thousands of miles across different countries and covering difficult terrains all the times just to get paid because I will rather do what I love best, walk the cool bushes in my village every single day while magic happens with an App on my computer.

Don’t and NEVER ever belief any of such crap. Hard work and especially smart work pays, there is no other option. You have to man your own destiny, you and you alone have to chart your own path and as a matter of fact, you have to go out there and sweat it out. That’s the only way out. If you belief all that crap on the internet and lazy on while waiting on some App to work magic for you, trust me that your bank account will remain dry and you die a pauper. If any of such people had a secret that works as they claim, they’ll never tell you else, you become their competition. Grow up, you can do better.

If you want to change your life as much as you want to breathe, you must go out there and make it happen. If you want to remain a pastime dreamer, then you can belief all that cheap talk. It’s you choice what you do about your dreams.

Be Smart in Your Hard Work

Millions are those who think that hard work is the biggest secret to success. What does it mean to work hard anyway? People have varied definitions of it. I think there are more compelling factors at play and when you neglect such fundamental factors, you deter your overall success.

Patrick and Pasty are two friends who came to a city to earn money. They went to a reputable rich merchant for a job. The merchant on the first day gave each of them a cane basket and pointing towards a well in his garden said, "Take these baskets and draw water from the well till dusk."

Patrick thought that was the most foolish and ridiculous assignment he ever had to draw water in a cane basket. So, he decided he was not going to do such a stupid assignment and slept under a shed the entire day. On the other hand, Pasty thought there might be something in the seemingly foolish task than meets the eye so he set to work. After some few hours of working hard, when he drew the basket up, he saw gold coins in the basket.

Pasty took all the coins he had laboriously collected at the end of the day to the merchant who rewarded him generously and equally gave him a more permanent job. Patrick on his part, went away disappointed and ashamed of himself.

Working hard sometimes and in some situations may be a waste of time, especially if you’re not getting desired results. Working in a smarter way could make the difference and help you gain time. Time especially is a non-negotiable, non-renewable resource and people waste a lot of it. By working smarter, you develop strategies such as consistency for example that enable you achieve greater and unexpected results without wasting time.

Consistency in what you do enable you see the fruits of your labor come to fruition. Most great achievers master this principle. No matter what your goals may be, being consistent is the key to achieving them. This is working smarter and there is simply no way around it.

The Foolish Hero

I like to become a hero, its inspiring not only to you but equally to many others. The big question however is; when should you play the hero?

One day on a calm afternoon, a deer was grazing gracefully in a jungle. Some hunters arrived there and shot an arrow at him. The poor animal got scared and hid behind a bush. The hunters started searching for him. It got to a point when the deer couldn't control his patience and started nibbling the leaves of the bushes. The hunters heard the rustling sound of the leaves. One of them saw the deer behind the tree and shot an arrow at him and the deer fell down dead.

This got me reflecting back to a time when I was on special assignment in Liberia. The country was under the pangs of a civil unrest that lead to the ousting of Charles Taylor. I remember that despite all the briefings on security measures we received, one of our security coordinators for that matter got to Liberia and decided to be parading the streets dressed like some war movie hero and adamant to all advice. The consequences were fatal, he was quickly spotted as an enemy by the rebels and gunned down.

Whether in your private life, work or business, you must clearly understand that at the time of danger, you should keep patience and behave intelligently.
