Little Things We Ignore, That Matter

Dear loving people,

Let’s examine some of the things we take for granted and that hinder our success in many areas:

1.     Self-Awareness

Millions of people fail in life because they consciously or unconsciously insist on doing the things on a daily basis that disrupt not only their relationships but also their bodies, the mental capacity and their lives in general. They waste a greater part of their time doing things that are not productive yet time is such an asset that we all share the same amount. It does not matter whether you live in a hurt or in a villa; we all share the same amount of time. Achievers know that they must STOP wasting it!

  

2.   Focus

It is difficult to focus if you are not self-aware. Think back on what you have focused on for the past one week? Have you been positive all the days? It has been proven that negative thoughts attract negative patterns. It is today known that our thoughts do have actual weight and existence. This means that your negative thought do actually weigh you down! When you constantly think about something, then every opportunity that arises to get you closer to that something, you will be able to capitalize on it. That is why it is said that “you attract what you focus on most. Said another way, “God will give you what you pray about most.”

3.   Support System

You must get rid of anything that is unsupportive of your dreams. Unfortunately, there are no two ways about this; Life is too short and the world is TOO BIG to be held down any longer! When you get your spouse on board, you will have the greatest MASTERMIND ever created! You are unstoppable with the support of the one you love! Sit down, have a real conversation and get your spouse on board; you will be so powerful with this tool!

 

4.   Confidence

You have to be confident in yourself! You will face temporary defeat in pursuit of Success! You can bet on that but then, you must hang on if you need to make it. You have to be confident in your own ability to complete, to succeed, and to win. With This unwavering confidence you will stand taller and make the right decisions faster.

 

5.    Decision Making

The greatest entrepreneurs of all time have all had the ability to look at the facts, consider their resources and make a prompt decision on a situation. Napoleon Hill states that the wealthiest of men make decisions promptly and change them slowly while the poor are indecisive if ever coming to a conclusion. By making prompt decisions, you become the leader of the pack while Mr. Indecisive goes home defeated.

 

6.   Imagination

There would be no lights, no cars, no planes, no Television or anything else without the great imaginations of the past greatest entrepreneurs! You should be taking time every day to imagine your success, make it real in your mind, and it will become real in the world. Your imagination is one of your greatest gifts and is completely unique to you! Use it, all the times!

 

7.    Do it

This is where it all happens. How many times have you said you wanted to do something and didn't? Be honest and answer to yourself. Do something right now toward achieving the success you want. Start right this second. If you say later, you will always say later, do something right now. The timing is never right. Just do it, instead of figuring out reasons why not to do it? Write something right now! Do something! Do something amazing! Just go right ahead and do it because you know that what you want to do is the right thing that you must do.

Never Give Up !!

Dear loving people,

How often do we start moving in one direction, face opposition and then quit immediately? Just imagine for a second that you had such a great idea, you had tremendous passion for it, but once the real work came, you walked yourself out! It happens all the time to even the strongest willed people. They give up just when the best things are about to happen.

As far back as 118 BC, Polybius (the Greek historian) was right when he said “Some men give up their designs when they have almost reached the goal; while others, on the contrary, obtain a victory by exerting, at the last moment, more vigorous efforts than before.” Just think back how often we kill the very bright dreams we ourselves conceived just by quitting.

The Bible in 1 Corinthians 10:13 assure us that no temptation including that of quitting has overtaken you that is not common to man. But you must remember at all times that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Again from 2 Corinthians 6:4–5, we are cautioned not to give up even when the fragmenting effect of multiple pressures seems relentless. But as children of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger and hard work.

Bruno Mars in his beautify song advices…

When you want to do something that’s new

And it seems really, really hard to do

You feel like quitting, you feel you're through

Well I have some advice for you

Don’t give up

Keep on trying

You’re gonna make it

I ain't lying

Don’t give up, don’t ever quit

Try and try and you can do it

Don’t give up, yeah

Don’t give up on the course you have chosen because it is persistence that takes you to success. If Walt Disney quit too soon after his theme park concept was trashed 302 times, there will be no Disneyland Resort today.

Done give up on God because he has not given up on you, Job in the Bible will not have gotten his life and wealth back if he had given up on God in the middle of his complete desolation.

At all times, keep the relationship between Choices, Chances and Changes because you must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change. One thing is for sure, if you give up too soon, you will never know what you’ll be missing.

Keep going and NEVER Give-up

Just Go Ahead And Do It

Dear loving people,

I live with very good memories of a human potential development organization in Cameroon called Gold Touch International. I did not only start my career there, but have carried along a good portion of what makes what I am today.

For those who knew Gold Touch International, you certainly know the rock-hard senior Journalist behind it – Ngobesing Suh Romanus. Of the multitude of outstanding things he has and continues to say, I pick out this astute counsel “If you want to do something and know it is right, go ahead and do it. Don’t doubt, don’t fear, don’t listen to discouraging messages from people, just go ahead and do it”

It’s over 15 years since I first heard those words from Mr. Ngobesing and guess what? The words still linger around me like a menacing ghost. As he says, the moment you decide to take action to change your story, somebody somewhere is going to criticize what you do. Just go ahead and do it.

There will be critical problems and difficulties that will come your way, and you won’t get to the finish line as quickly as you planned. Just go ahead and do it.

As you read this message now, I know there’s something you sincerely want to achieve, become, or experience in life. While there are infinite reasons and excuses for not advancing with it, I equally know there’s also one very fascinating reason why you should just go ahead and do it.

As a matter of fact, if you truly desire it, believe in it, “…and know it’s right, then just go ahead and do it…” because it’s something you are meant to do.

The truth that many will not tell you is that it won’t just happen because you want it so bad. If life was that easy, everybody will have everything. It will only happen to you, when you focus the power of your spirit and awareness persistently in the direction that makes it happen. That is what I often refer to as “putting your bones and brains to work for it.”

You must have read this 16^th century English language proverb "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride". It is a succinct explanation why it is utterly useless to simply wish and that better results can only be achieved through concrete and focused action.

While tabling your supplications to Providence, go ahead, and experience the priceless pleasure of having a purpose. Go ahead and make it happen, just go ahead and do it.

Be a Dreamer of the Day

Dear loving people,

 

Dreams do come true, at least we can all agree on this. I equally agree strongly with T.E. Lawrence who said “All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their minds, awake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it reality.”

 

What a beautiful truth, dreamers of the day equally know the place of mistakes in their struggle to conquer. They agree with what A. Alvarez wrote in his The Games Climbers Play “To put yourself into a situation where a mistake cannot necessarily be recouped, where the life you lose may be your own, clears the head wonderfully. It puts domestic problems back into proportion and adds an element of seriousness to your drab, routine life. Perhaps this is one reason why climbing has become increasingly hard as society has become increasingly, disproportionately, coddling.”

I enjoy climbing mountains, the higher you go the scenery gets the more magnificent. Dreamers of the day are equally good climbers, they understand that mountains are climbed by those who begin and not by those who want to be sure. They know that you see the countryside better when you are at the hilltop and not at the bottom of the valley so they set to work.

Notice I talk of dreamers of the day and not daydreamers. Are they the same? I chose not to think so. A daydreamer to me is simply someone who indulges in some idle, pointless or absentminded daydreaming and ends it there. A dreamer of the day on the other hand is a conscious person with a burning desire to act upon their dreams to make them a reality. They don’t consider dreams to be a pastime activity but a process to lead them to eminence.  Dreamers of the day understand perfectly that to succeed, you’ve got to WORK HARD; in order to work hard, you’ve got to TRY MANY OPTIONS; in trying many options, you will MAKE MISTAKES and even to make mistakes, you’ve got to START.

As you begin to climb the mountain of your success, you will face breathtaking challenges, remember the words of Confucius who said “It does not matter how slow you go, as long as you don't stop.” and “If you don't let go, you can't fall off!” Jerry Moffat, advice.

Be a dreamer of the day and always remember that they are equally good climbers.
