Dear lovely people,
Blessed are they who are born with talents for they are
naturally imbued with the predisposition to success in most that they do. So what about those who are
not born with talents? Are they doomed for failure? A vehement NO is the best
fit answer considering new thinking which states that hard work will mold and
shape any given talent into a burning passion that can then bridge the gap
between good and great and can even turn the slightest skill into something
even more powerful than that of natural talent. “Hard work beats talent, when
talent fails to work hard” says Kevin Durant.
If
you truly have what can be describe as a burning
desire to succeed, the only other thing to do is to put your bones and brains (mind) to it and work extremely
hard. It’s my experience that no matter how much you yearn to open the gates of
extraordinary success, if you are not determined and do not physically put in
the requisite work, you can trust me that you will hardly ever reap the
benefits. I therefore earn your credits in saying that even if you were born
with no talents, you can through extraordinary hard work rise to become the
best in your field.
This
brings me then to conclude that no matter how talented you are in any field, combining
such talents with hard work will leapfrog you to achieving even more than you
could possibly ever imagine.
Forget
about this old-school thinking that talent is the basis of everything and that
even with hard work most people will still not beat people with natural talent.
Such outmoded thinking is the reason why many a people never get to taste the
benefits that come with extraordinary success. The bottom-line truth is that
the reason the naturally talented rise to the summit is because they have the
determination to make themselves even better and they clearly understand that with
hard work, they will certainly become the best in their field.
Well,
I am no magician to know whether you fall amongst those who willingly fold up
their sleeves and put in the hard work in order to reap the extraordinary benefits?
Why not, extraordinary people most often are just ordinary people who do ordinary
things in an extraordinary way.
