Dear loving people,
In Galatians 6:7 (NIV), I read “Do
not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sow” and you
hear this every day, everywhere and all the time. Why do some people want to
reap where they have never sown? Well, in agreement with Robert Louis
Stevenson, “Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you
plant” because we sow in one season, we reap in
another.
In the same light, Ngobesing Suh Romanus advices;
“Be
not overly concerned, about the fruits of your labor; be more concerned, about
the service you render; every service brings its reward; in due time, It comes;
If not today tomorrow.”
In your quest for success and prominence,
NEVER be like the Landlords whom Karl Marx says, “…like all other men, love to
reap where they never sowed.” And as Maya Angelou says, “If
we don't plant the right things, we will reap the wrong things. It goes without
saying. And you don't have to be, you know, a brilliant biochemist and you
don't have to have an IQ of 150. Just common sense tells you to be kind, ninny,
fool. Be kind.”
Life experiences have demonstrated in so many
ways to different people in different parts of the world that:
1.
What goes around comes around irrespective of
your choices.
2.
You will see the long-term effects of your
actions whether you like it or not.
3.
Everything you do has repercussions. It comes
back to you one way or another.
4.
You cannot escape the consequences of your
actions. What you do comes back to you.
In a nutshell, your actions all have
consequences. Don't ever be fooled into thinking that your actions don't have
consequences. Don't think you can get away with bad choices even if you don't
seem to get caught. Watch the way you live your life because as have been said
already, you reap what you sow.
“The law of harvest is to
reap more than you sow. Sow an act, and you reap a habit. Sow a habit and you
reap a character. Sow a character and you reap a destiny.” Says James Allen
