Limiting Beliefs? Let Go

Dear lovely people,

It’s no news to you that there are people who set goals for themselves at the start of each New Year (New Year Resolutions) and by the end of the yea, realize that they had long forgot they had such goals to attain. Such people most often do well during the first week or two, but soon falloff the goal-achieving wagon. Oh well. There’s always next year, right? Hold on there. No need to wallow in regret for the awesome life that could have been. There’s still hope for you yet

People who are destined for success develop powerful minds. A powerful mind does not put a limit on the extent that it can change reality. Such a mind understands clearly that there is no standardized formula for success, there are rather tools you can use to fashion out your path to success that might be unique to you. Success is like a painting, while different artists might use the same set of tools and paint, the finished product will not be the same even if they were doing the same portrait. The stroke of their brush on the canvas will never be the same, some might apply pressure on the brush while others do it lightly and they will hardly use the same lighting effects. You may equally look at success as a pot of soup. Different cooks might use the same ingredients but when served, the soup tastes differently.

A Buddha says “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.” The Upanishads further reinforce this truth in saying “You are what your deep driving desire is. As your deep driving desire is, so is your will. As your will is so is your deed. As your deed is so is your destiny.”

“Our intention is everything. Nothing happens on this planet without it. Not one single thing has ever been accomplished without intention.” You alone can give a unique touch to your journey to success because you are unique. If you focus on knowing the right tools and the right frame of mind to have on your journey, you will get to the same destination as many others not necessarily using the same path.

Jesus Christ in his infinite love, assures us that “Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Open up, see the world for its abundance rather than limitations. See your personal potential as limitless rather than limited. When doubt creeps into your mind, remember it’s only as valid as the amount of attention you give it.
