Dear lovely people,
One day, a tourist found his way to the village. Before sunset that day, the villagers gathered at the village square to talk with the strange stranger. He was entertaining and described to them what life beyond their horizon looked like. After listening with keen interest, he asked them:
In some far-off land was a little
village with a closely knitted people. They had lived for so long but could not
develop fast because none of them ever left the village for other place, none of
them ever dared to climb the surrounding mountains to take a look at what could
be happening all around them or on the other side. It was even considered a
taboo to look up into the sky and so generations grew and got old without
changing.
One day, a tourist found his way to the village. Before sunset that day, the villagers gathered at the village square to talk with the strange stranger. He was entertaining and described to them what life beyond their horizon looked like. After listening with keen interest, he asked them:
“Do you want me to lead you to
some of the places I have talked about so that you see how people live in those
places?” Oh! they answered sadly, “it is late and we have become too old to
travel to such places.”
“Then come with me to the surrounding
mountains so that you can look at the world from the top!” The Tourist continued
but came their response: “Oh! it is running
late and we have very little energy to embark on any such trip” they cried out.
“Ok, just look at the sky simply,
it’s not a taboo as you have been told,” the Tourist continued; and I will tell
you about the life in the Kingdom of Heaven! They responded in chorus again: “It
is late; our minds are finding it increasingly difficult to understand your
story.”
The Tourist surprised by such
demotivation, tried to cheer them up. “Let‘s sing a song!” he said and was
going to sing first, but the people noticed that the sun had gone down. They
all protested “It is late, it is time to
sleep” and off they were going
to their respective huts.
The Tourist was so disappointed
but filled with pity for them. Then he wrote the following in his notebook
before leaving the village. When life is continuous and infinite, it is
not late for any achievements! If only people could take away all words of
limitation from their lives such as: “late“, “not“, “impossible“, “far“, “high“,
“hard“, “will not understand“, and will place in their hearts the joy of infinity.
Maybe they will clearly understand the universal Law: nothing is late, because
there is no end, there is only the beginning!
