Dear lovely people,
Did you know science says that
people read a lot about a person just by looking at their face? This sounds
subjective but trust me, you would easily pick out a man living in affluence from
those facing life the hard way just by looking at their faces. Oh yes, success
has a way of phenotypically manifesting in the facial expression of those who
are making it big. However, the stretch marks of the years of struggles and endurance
are often masked once you enter the upper circle of achievements such that people
see only your face of success and not the struggles and pain underlying it.
Foreke
is such a multi-talented actor but it took him 15 solid years of hard work to
land his first solo lead and since then, he became a mega star, inundated with
mega contracts and endorsements. In his early days, many are those who thought
Foreke had gone insane simply because you found him practicing his lines and
roles everywhere. He will be talking to himself on the way, reading his script
at the top of his voice at home, practicing roles while eating and there are
times when you could spend half an hour around him before he will notice you
were around especially when you met him rehearsing. A characteristic of his is
to listen to advice from all and pick-out what will advance him. He talks most
often of a life changing advice he got from an elderly friend that launched his
career: "As long as you keep your mind and soul on your vision and actions,
you will do fine.”
Foreke
often talks of the difficult times he went through, he talks about his debut
and how he did cameos without credit, and then roles that did not begin to tap
his potential and then performance-based appearances in films that changed the
public’s perception of him. Today he is considered to be one of the finest
actors in the industry and is taking up roles only he can do. He has created a
face of success.
Anybody and everybody can become
a face of success. However while its open to everybody, only those who are not
afraid to use their brain, those who are willing to take off their white jackets
and get down to the nutty-gritty of whatever their passion is will create a face
of success for themselves. Once you start moving on that path, there will be hard
times, there will be pain and tears, there will be the temptation to give up,
you will be called names and reminded how useless you are. There are those who
will do all in their powers to bring you down with slander and to get you off
rails.
But, you have to remember it’s
your face of success you want to create and not theirs. You and only can prove
them wrong and make them failures in their mission to bring you down by not
giving up and persisting on the rough roads, learning at every given
opportunity until you create a face of success.
